Click on the PayPal Donate button below to go to Beth Chai's PayPal page.
- Enter the total dollar amount of your contribution in the "amount" box and let us know what the payment is for in the "Payment for" box. (Some examples: $100 in memory of my grandfather; $72 for refugee tzedakah; $20 for bagel fund; $50 to underwrite auction.) You are limited to 130 letters and spaces in this box.
- Choose whether you will pay by credit card or through your own direct debit PayPal account. If you wish to pay by credit card, don't log in as a PayPal member; at this time it appears that PayPal is accepting only direct debit payments from its own account holders. Click on the button marked, "If you do not currently have a PayPal account" -- that will take you to a page with a credit card logo and a button for "secure checkout" underneath. Again, do not log in as a member if you'd like to use your credit card!
- After you have clicked on the "secure checkout" button, you will go to a page with a form to fill out for your billing information.
At the bottom of the billing page you will see a longer message box marked "Comments." If you didn't have space in the "Payment for" box to describe your donation fully, you can add all the detail you want here. If paying for congregational dues or Beth Chai Family school tuition, please be sure to list names and categories, so that we may properly credit your payment. If you've followed all the prompts and completed the process successfully, PayPal will send you a receipt by email. Any questions about your contribution?
